Disaster Day

Disaster Day

Disaster Day, the nation’s largest student-led interprofessional emergency response simulation, was created by the Texas A&M College of Nursing in 2008, to offer hands-on training in disaster response. It has grown from 35 nursing students to more than 600 students from the colleges of Nursing, Medicine, Public Health, Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and the Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy to provide future health care professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond in an emergency situation through an interdisciplinary, simulated learning experience.

Additional information on Disaster Day can be viewed on the Disaster Day web page
